Both Rosanna Sorci and her creative activity have their roots in Muggia, the only municipality in Istria that remained in Italian territory. Overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, this small coastal town retains an authentic charm, made up of colorful houses, narrow alleys, and views that recall the Venetian atmosphere.
It is right here that Rosanna's creative workshop was born: a place where the rhythm of the sea, the light that changes throughout the day, and the colors of the coast become a source of inspiration for floral compositions and scenographies. The bond with the territory is strong: Muggia is a small but rich city in history, where the maritime tradition and Istrian culture coexist with an artistic and lively soul.
Strolling through the historic center, you come across elegant squares, Venetian-style buildings, and the characteristic mandracchio, the small port that for centuries has represented the heart of city life. It is no coincidence that Muggia is often called the “little Venice of the Adriatic,” for its architecture and its daily relationship with the sea.
